About Agolin
Agolin was founded in 2006 in Switzerland. We research, develop, produce and market innovative feed additives, based on plant active ingredients, which are effective, easy to use, safe and proven to be effective through independent research. We are active across many markets, including Europe, Asia and North America. Agolin’s quality management system (FAMI-QS) ensures safety and guarantees traceability. The company is a member of FEFANA, the EU Association of Speciality Feed Ingredients and their Mixtures.
Production
Production is based in our modern facility located in Bière (Switzerland). Our production complies with all Swiss and EU regulations.
AGOLIN is committed to the highest quality requirements. Our customers can rely on our strict quality control criteria and quality assurance.
AGOLIN’s approval number for production and placing on the market of feed additives and premixes is the following: CH12657.

Solar Impulse
Agolin SA is a validated member of the “World Alliance” and awarded as an Efficient Solution since 2018.
The objective of The World Alliance for Efficient Solutions (established by the Solar Impulse Foundation) is to federate the players of the field in clean technologies and shed light on existing efficient solutions to fast-track their implementation.
The Foundation team announced that Agolin’s solution to “reduce methane production in dairy cows and beef cattle” has received the endorsement of the World Alliance for Efficient Solutions based on the assessment made by independent experts.
SPEI – Service de la Promotion de l’Economie et de l’Innovation
The « Service de la promotion de l’économie et de l’innovation » (SPEI) of the Canton Vaud is supporting Agolin’s activities since 2008. The SPEI co-financed projects concerning geographical expansion and university trials for registration dossiers. The Agolin team appreciates the cooperation with SPEI, which accelerates the company’s development.
Dairy Sustainability Framework
The framework includes a global layer offering a sustainability vision for the global dairy sector. It also includes regional/local layers, enabling a prioritization of the issues relevant to the region, while connecting them at a global level.
IFCN
IFCN started in 2000 as the International Farm Comparison Network uniting research partners via the in-depth analysis of the typical dairy farming systems around the world.
The network relies on the main pillars of the IFCN Research Partners, IFCN Supporting Partners and the IFCN Dairy Research Center managing the network, data and knowledge from Kiel, Germany.
