About AGOLIN RUMINANT
Many years of research has resulted in this specific blend of powerful components with great benefits to ruminant animals. AGOLIN RUMINANT is a blend of high quality plant extracts from e.g. coriander, nutmeg or wild carrot designed to optimize the ruminants feed intake and feed utilization.
Further product features are its pleasant smell and its physical forms , which are well accepted by the feed industry and farmers.
Research trials (University of Wales, Aberystwyth, UK) have produced the following (right) rumen responses, both in vitro and in vivo, when AGOLIN was supplemented to the diets.
University research and field trials around the world confirm the benefits of AGOLIN RUMINANT on feed efficiency and milk yields.
A research trial carried out with 600 high yielding dairy cows by the University of California demonstrated the following main benefit from inclusion of AGOLIN in corn based diets of early lactating cows (left):
Recent trials in the UK on large dairy herds fed with grass silage based TMR have shown good feed intake and positive effects on milk yield and feed efficiency.
In all the tested farms, milk yield and feed efficiency showed significant im-provements. As a consequence the revenue of these farms was improved by at least 5%.
Improving rumen efficiency is equally as effective in beef animals as dairy. Field trials confirm excellent responses to AGOLIN RUMINANT in beef animals. The latest example is a ten month trial carried out on a large cattle farm in Germany, with 235 bulls involved. The feed ration formulation is based on grass and corn silage.
The average weight at start was about 365 kg and the final weight was measured at 720 kg. The bulls in the AGOLIN group were slaughtered on average 8.5 day earlier.
The main findings were significantly higher weight gains and an improved feed conversion rate by over 5%. Together these positive results for Agolin are worth about Euro 50 per animal.
